Shopify store audit (speed and accessibility)
The Shopify store audit is $450 fixed (10 hours at $45), covers speed and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility on four page types and takes 5 working days.
My store audit is a fixed-price check of your Shopify store's speed and accessibility: Lighthouse and axe-core on the home, collection, product and cart pages, with issues grouped by root cause and fixes ranked by impact. It's for merchants and agencies who want a clear fix list. It costs $450 (10 hours at $45) and takes 5 working days.
Who it's for
- Merchants who want to know why the store is slow before paying for fixes
- Stores selling to EU customers that need a WCAG 2.1 AA baseline for the European Accessibility Act
- Agencies that want an independent report to share with a client
What you get
- Lighthouse on mobile and desktop for the home, collection, product and cart pages
- An axe-core scan against WCAG 2.1 AA on the same pages, plus keyboard and focus checks by hand
- Violations grouped by root cause and mapped to WCAG success criteria
- The apps and third-party scripts on the store, with what each one costs in load time
- The top three fixes up front, ranked by revenue impact and effort, each with an hour estimate
- A branded PDF report and a 30-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded video if our hours don't overlap
How it works
- 01 You send the store URL; collaborator access is optional and lets me name the exact theme files
- 02 You pay the $450 up front
- 03 I run the audit over 5 working days
- 04 You get the report and the walkthrough
- 05 You decide what to fix, with me or anyone else
5 working days from payment and the store URL.
When you don't need me
If you already know what's wrong and only want it fixed, skip the audit and book speed work or support hours. The audit also isn't a legal certificate: it shows where the store fails WCAG 2.1 AA and what to fix. For legal questions about the ADA or the EAA, ask a lawyer.

5 businesses audited with Lighthouse and axe-core across 4 page types per store; on one store a single colour token caused 482 contrast flags, all cleared by one fix.
FAQ
Questions
The free check is a quick Lighthouse and automated accessibility run on your home page, talked through on the call. The paid audit covers four page types, adds keyboard checks by hand, traces each issue to its cause and comes as a written report with ranked fixes, the top three with hour estimates.
The audit on its own doesn't. It shows where the store fails WCAG 2.1 AA, the usual benchmark under both the EAA and the ADA, and what to fix. The store gets closer to compliance when those fixes are made and kept in place.
Yes, if you want. The top three fixes come with an hour estimate at $45 an hour, and every issue has its fix written out, so you can give the list to me, your agency or your own developer.
Only the store URL. Collaborator access lets me point to the exact theme files and apps behind each issue, but the audit works without it.
